Linking students to the classroom, creating ownership of the environment by seeing their work/names around the environment. Including having a special news day with their names on each bee hive - they choose the day.
Superhero day because out motif/theme for the classroom
Our class treaty is based on the RICH/school values. The kids tried to explain what each concept meant to them. I guided them to the ones displayed. We focused on one value each week.
